why? the guy was funny. So he said something stupid, big deal. it doesn't take away from what he did over a decade ago.
Not I. He's a f'n riot.

Racist? Don't know. Then again, it can be said that Martin Lawrence is bigoted towards white people but he's f'n hilarious as well.
So I guess its ok to elect David Duke President.
FTR I didnt say I didnt laugh, I just feel guilty doing it.

I will continue to laugh.
i'm friends with black people and a few latinos who talk crap about white people all the time, yet they aren't the least bit racist. One person's blood can get boiled a lot faster than another's.

Ahhh, so saying something bigoted is the same as being the Grand Lizard of an organization that wants to segregate the races?

Noted. 01-wingedeagle
Hey for all we know Michael Richards may be a closet member. lmfao lmfao lmfao
Honestly, I found his use of antiquated language in his "apology" more offensive than the actual act.
Seinfeld=worst show of all time.

I Spy a Crackhead. lmfao

I can see this with other shows, some like this one, some like that one, but you must be out cho rabidass mind. That show WILL go in the history books.
If TV shows ever go down in history books I fear for mankind.
What do you think of Rev. Jackson?
I dont feel guilty for laughing at Sinfield. what a person is personaly-and what they play on tv are different things. I betcha if you met most famous ppl you would not like them. but they are great actors, atheletes, singers...

Word. Kramer is a character, and what a character. To me he doesn't exist outside of Seinfeld.

why? sure TV has been the cause of some problems, but it's also done a lot of good things. There are some families that would never spend time with eachother if it wasn't for tv.

W/out tv, how would today's kids raise themselves?

sad.
Ugh, once again you guys completely missed my point. Of course the Television as a means of communication and artistic display is worthy of history books, it is easily one of the most important and influential inventions possibly of all time. But a sitcom, any sitcom, does not have a place in history books. I cannot comprehend a world where something so trivial would have a rightful place in a history book. That was my point.

I suppose it depends on the influence it had (or more accuartely was perceived to have had). All in the Family and M*A*S*H will probably go in the history books. And maybe that's justified, certainly the simple-minded, innacurate syllogisms seen on AitF, now pervade the dumbed down American populace.
