I heard that too. I would absolutely love to go to Coachella. Outside SXSW or Austin City Limits, that would be the festival I'd love to see. Though, Cincy suprisingly has their own little indie festival called Desdemona. Some great acts come by. But it pales in comparison to the aforementioned festivals.

I always wanted to hear Zack's solo cd.... now I know-- it never came out. He's a good MC/singer..and his style fits w/ a band like RATM.
IMHO the ranking of RATMs catalog
1) " self titled debut
2) Renegades
3) Battle of Los Angeles
4) Evil Empire
Granted there is not a whole lot of diffential in the cds.

Tom Morello has a new solo project coming out. It's called the Nightwatchman. I found out about it through Ike Reilly's newsletter. He's doing a benifit show with him.

The last I heard of Zack was on Saul Williams last album. Pretty good tune, the name escapes me though. But Rage was sweet, would love to see them reunite. Not before the Pixies though.

I saw them play Austin City Limits on the PBS, but I wasn't aware they reunited reunited. Studio album? I know Frank Black's doing his solo thing, but as far as a full on album, I'm in the dark.

Ziggy Stardust Wrote:I don't think there were plans for a new album, but they did tour two years ago. I saw Urge Overkill open for them at the Aragon Ballroom. It was probably the same tour/time period that they did the PBS show. They also recorded all the shows and sold the records to people as they walked out. So, that's probably out there if you're interested.dynovinyl Wrote:Ziggy Stardust Wrote:The last I heard of Zack was on Saul Williams last album. Pretty good tune, the name escapes me though. So, I was in Best Buy this morning and Rage came on...I forgot how much I liked them.
By the way, did you want to hear Tom Morello's solo work? You can here the song "Until the End" here: http://www.myspace.com/thenightwatchman
You can also here another song at the Axis of Justice myspace page. He's not a great singer, but writes to fit his voice. This song sounds like some of Joe Strummer's solo stuff.
