I say anyone who has the hard drive space to rip a significant library of HD DVD and Blue Ray, more power to them.
It has not truly been broken. They have gotten the encryption code for a handful of specific movies, but not for all of them. This is more of a software leak than a true reverse engineering of their encryption system.
