I was just thinking about Harriet Miers. Here, Bush the Incompetent puts her up for a LIFELONG appointment to the highest court in the land. This IS his choice. Now, when they lose the Congress she resigns because the White House needs a more competent adviser because of the slew of lawsuits and subpoena's coming down the line. Am I in the twilight zone here. It's amazing the sycophants that this guy's ego attracts. It's just another example in a line a mile long of the ((Oh Jesus this is funny I went to google and put in incompetent I was looking for a synonym because I used incompetent above and I got a whole page of GWB websites. OMFG is that funny, clarifies my point really)) incompetence of this guy. Wow, tragically funny really. I just wish my grandkids didn't have to pay for this 1.2 trillion dollar war of choice.

As far as Harriet Miers goes, that appointment had me scratching my head.

I dont find it too ironic. I have seen plenty of judges that I would not want defending me in a court room.
Fred Fieldings brings a whole different skill set to the table then Harriet Miers and his skill set is needed for Bush's last two years.
It is not a knock on Harriet Miers but an acknowledgement of the Bush White House that they will have to adjust to having Democrats in power.
