The more I read about this, the more I think that:

A) That prosecutor is really in trouble, and I don't just mean in terms of winning his case.

B) There is more than merely reasonable doubt as to what happened.
There is almost NO evidence that even suggests that this happened.

I found this astounding:
Quote:In that same interview, the accuser also said she was no longer certain she had been penetrated vaginally by a penis, a necessary element of rape charges in North Carolina.

She can't ID the people she accused. She didn't have any of the accuser's DNA on her. There was no physical evidence of rape. There are no witnesses. This whole thing was BS that cost a season and a coach. And Jesse Jackson still thinks the lying bitch is telling the truth and is offering her a scholarship to pay for school. 04-chairshot

You think the ACLU is actually worth something anymore?

Doesn't Jackson head the ALCU? Wasn't the ALCU there when the story broke?

No, I think he and Al Sharpton head the NASRP.....

That's the National Association for Stupid Racist People.

On a real note, The ACLU is the American Civil Liberties Union and is a group that is dedicated to defending personal rights. It just appears that they always end up defending the nutcases.
I started posting this before lunch and blah beat me to it. Here it is anyway.

I can't find any evidence that Jackson is in any leadership role with the ACLU. In this case he is representing the NAACP.

I found this quote by the head of the Duke ACLU organization:
[quote]As the initial facts concerning the case became clear, it was obvious to the ACLU@DUKE
Jessie Jackson was and I believe still is the HEad of the Rainbow Col. and has been for quite some time now!
Oh, I always thought that the ACLU stood for Association of Crazy Liberals United.

My bad.

Isn't that his organization anyway?
Yeah, I believe he founded the Rainbow Coalition.
