Survelance cameras now have speakers that talk to people in public. 4.2 million spy cameras in the U.K.

Outrageous. Now I would consider moving to Canada is **** like that started happening.
It looks like by next summer every car on every road in England will be under survelence also:

It's likely to happen in Canada before the US. They like their socialist government up there.
I am all for this if it helps reduce crime. Why do I care if a camera is watching me as I walk down the street. I'm not the one breaking the law so what do I have to hide. People who worry about this have something to hide.

The cameras hit a hell of alot more than the street. Do you know how many people complain of cameras that can see in their house? These cameras aren't stationary either... so they can be panned and zoomed. If one of these cameras can see any portion of my house I consider it a gross violation of my privacy.
