As Kofi leaves his post as the un Secretary General, I was wondering, what if anything he did while in office that was positive for the world. Any thoughts?
Oh, I have GOT to see the one poster's rationalization on why he was good.
I didn't vote, but why would you consider him bad?
uhmump95 Wrote:I didn't vote, but why would you consider him bad?

Because he's black, why else. [Image: rolleyes.gif]

Jesus dude, are you f'n serious? How much corruption does it take for someone to be bad? If he was white would you be asking me that?

The man calls Bush every name in the book, claims this country is committing crimes, and gives that fool in Iran a damn pass. His exit speech was nothing more than an attack on THIS country, one that his dumb*** has lived in for years, with NO mention of the real problems like Iran. How about the ineptness to see to it that Saddam actually ABIDE by the numerous resolutions passed against him?

Shall I go on?

Sometimes black people should be criticized, uh.

I do hope I read you wrong.
You did read me wrong.

I don't follow the UN regularly and the UN does not seem to be very effective doing anything.

I do find it funny how corruption in politics becomes a big issue when the minorities start attempting to be as corrupt as whites. I remember when I was Alabama where they had "no bid" contracts forever, but now that a few blacks were making money "no bid" contract had to be abolished because it is corrupt.

Kev,

There was nothing is my question to make you think that I was questioning the voting because Kofi was black. I thank you for your "Michael Richards" reply, it let's me know what type of person you are.

Huh? I'm a racist now?

BTW, white corrupt politicians are ran out of office here in Augusta. Just ask Linda Schrenko and Robin Williams.

Of course you are. Mump has branded everybody by some stereotype or another.

Now that is the pot calling the kettle black.

I admit that like every one else on this board that I stereotype people, at least I am honest about it.

So you do think I'm a racist? Um, Ok. I guess it's also safe to assume you think black people are above committing crimes and being involved in corruption.

Of course I stereotype people for different reasons, but in no way would I just slap "racist" on anyone unless they prove it. You, and a few others have no problem pointing at almost any white person and saying "racist". How about the NRA...Oh, they are Racist. Give it a rest. Just because you don't agree with someone, or they don't agree with you does not make them a racist.

There was NO reason for the black comments in your reply to me. The only reason you made them was becasue I was black and you were attempting to "put me in my place" and discredit my question by saying it was based on race.

You brought up race not me and it had no place in our discussion or this thread, but don't worry all your Southern White comrades (that is stereotyping BTW) will join you in saying I am the one who is racist.

I think, and I truly can't speak for Kev, but I think that he brought it up because it is a typical pattern for your posts on here. You brand, people/organizations/races as racist and then you offer no real reason for why you think that. Just a quick strike brand by you.

That's exactly what I intended. I have seen him for years defend black people just because they were black. Yes, I brought up race UH. It's a valid point. You can't see this guy doing anything wrong because he is black. If he were white you'd be jumping up and down screaming. Meanwhile, the "Crackas" on this board CONSTANTLY find fault in other white people.

Yes, it IS you that has the GDamn problem.
I brand the NRA as racist, because I believe that they push their agende (which I agree with) through racist means. For you to agree with me or disagree with me is your prerogative.

I brand the Republican Party bigoted and racist because:

1. That was hammered to me as a kid.
2. I have seen racist advertising that offended me
3. The Republicans do not have an equal opportunity plank in their platform.

Again for you to agree or disagree is your prerogative.

But still none of that justifies Kev's reply to me.

What a cop out on your part. I had at least on grandfather that was anti-black people. He called black people every name in the book and was pretty much disgusted by people of color. I heard rant after rant about how N******* were ruining this and the Co**s were taking away that. Now, I could be racist as well and blame it on my upbringing, but no, I choose to be different. I don't teach that crap to my kids and I will do my best to make sure that no one else does. I am sorry that you don't know how to think for yourself, but it seems like you are quick to excuse yourself for things, but want to hold every one else's feet to the fire.

How different are you? Just because you don't use racial surs (unless you are angry ...hmmmmm) doesn't mean that you are that much different then your grandfather.

That's right I am racist. lmfao It is obvious that you just don't get it.

I do not believe that I have ever defended a black person on this board for the simple reason that they are black. I do not attempt to explain away black people's problems on the fact that they are black. You must have me mixed up with some other black poster on this board. Perhaps we all post alike (stereotyping against boys and girls).

Here is my post

Quote:I didn't vote, but why would you consider him bad?

Where in that statement did I accuse of you of not liking Kofi because he was black? If you have read MY post before you know I do not mix my words about race and make my intentions very clear. There was no racial intention in that question what so ever.

It's kinda hard to reply to you without looking at your past history, UH. ...and the posts you've made the past two days only back that up. No white person came to the defense of Hans Blix. No white person came to the defense of Sandy Berger, well, with the exception of liberals. The truth is, you'd have said nothing if he'd have been white, so, in essence, your post DID make it about race. Yes, assumptions are sometimes true.

Again, history. Has there been a white person, other than someone you support, that you have defended, even less than overtly?

I didn't defend him I asked what you did not like about him. I do not follow the UN except for the whole weapon's inspector crisis in Iraq.

Name a white person other than someone that you support, that you have defended?
uhmump95 Wrote:Name a white person other than someone that you support, that you have defended?

Condi Rice, Michael Steele, Jesse Lee Peterson, Michael Vick, Denny Green,

Shall I go on?
Oh, and ADAMANTLY, Genarlow Wilson.
Kev,

Read that quote again please. I believe your list of black people.

Oh, my bad. Hold on. Let me eat this delicious Totino's Pizza.
