Nah..no crying here. But I was definitely hurt. It wasn't really me being sad because we lost...because I'm very proud of the year we had, but I was mostly sad because I wont be seeing Anthony Grundy or Archie Miller playing in an NC State uniform anymore.

As for the game...What a great game. UConn played like they were possessed. 62%??? Is that their best shooting game for the year?? They definitely stepped it up in a big game.

I'm going to go ahead and say this...and I know I might get ragged by the few UConn fans who have come over here...but I think we are the better team. UConn has a great team and a great coach. But when you shoot 45% and still have a chance to win against a team that shoots 62% (70% in the second half that we outscored them), then you are the better team. We rebounded very well against a great rebounding team, and we played well down the stretch.

The future is VERY bright!

You got jobbed! And I'm not talking about the whole game, just that one call that led to 3 foul shots with a minute to go! What crap! What a way to end the year for you! Hail the Wolfpack! You guys are definitely a team to contend with next year!

Rt1 - are you saying he didn't hit the guy in the arm, or are you saying it wasn't enough to be a foul?

Hell, Julius fouled Karen two times before he even took the shot on hard handchecks...but he didn't call it then. He calls that foul and Evtimov's three ties the game and we're looking at an overtime game.

The refs were inconsistent as hell down the stretch.

Rarely do they call ticky-tack fouls at the end of a close game like that. They usually let the players decide the game. If there is a blatant foul then they make the call.
