Don't have a problem with giving that much to Lee. They need all the offense they can get and he's a proven masher. And since he spent a couple of years in Milwaukee, he won't have to adjust to the pitchers' he'll face in the NL Central.
Williams has been aided by pitchers' parks for much of his career, so we'll see how he fares in Houston.

I actually like both deals, Carlos Lee is a heck of a hitter, and Woody Williams is a pretty clutch pitcher.

I think picking up Lee will greatly help the weak offense the team currently has. Berkman had 136 RBIs last season with Biggio coming in 2nd with only 62. Berkman was also the only player on the team who had more than 25 HR. So having another person who can drive in runs will be really nice.
I'm happy with picking up Williams too. With the possibility of Clemens (who would only come back for 1/2 season again) and Pettitte not coming back, the team needed something besides Oswalt, Wandy (who is iffy to me), and 3 guys who have about 1/2 a season in the major leagues under their belt in the starting rotation.
