Flash 9 BETA 2 for Linux released; should eliminate the sound freeze-ups that were occuring.

Is that why portage got like 3 to 6 times faster recently for no apparent reason??

The 2.* version of Portage is a hot momma, so that may have something to do with it.
As to 4.1 - When I upgraded from 3.4 to 3.6.6, it took for-freaking-ever (at least 3 days) to rebuild my system. When I upgraded from 3.6.6 to 4.1, it took about 28 hours.
