the democrats are just as screwed. at least the crop thats out there now. they need a clear leader who people can rally behind. they need to get their priorities in order as well. im not arguing that at all. which is why it sucks our country has a 2 party system.

The Democrats would be just fine if they would take their party back from elitest left-wing Socialists.

I can offer you SEVERAL about Socialist Democrats, to include, but not limited to, the membership to the Democratic Socialists of America, International ANSWER, a communist front, Moveon.org, a pro-Socialist movement, George Soros, an avowed Socialist, trying to get the United States to subjugate her sovereignty to the United Nations....shall I go on?

You fail to see the humor I actually don't think that they are fascists, but as long we're going to extremes.
How about the removal of habeas corpus. The Discovery Institute. Every idiot who thinks this is a Christian nation. The Bush administration ignoring FISA. The Ohio school board modifying their minutes in order to cover up attempts to get ID taught in schools. <insert more rhetoric>
Now, I don't think that every example here (or anywhere) means that the entire party is gone to hell, but it is always easy to find outliers who confirm someone's bias.
