can we get an update on the stats page.....i would like to see how many firefox users since last december

No, those figures are based upon unique hits, with each unique counted only once.

Windows 95.03%
Macintosh 3.60%
Linux 1.09%
Misc (Blackberries, PDAs, etc) 0.27%
OpenBSD 0.01%

I was showing him how safari is less than the # of Mac users -- which is about right, b/c many Mac guys use FF.

I was showing him how safari is less than the # of Mac users -- which is about right, b/c many Mac guys use FF.



hell....now i'm really confused....
With Firefox 2.0 out now I cannot understand how anyone can use IE.

Simply because there are a select few websites that are not written for FF. I run into 3 or 4 here at work for support issues.

I've used FF1.x for the past year, but I installed IE7 the other day and really like it. As others have mentioned, due to compatibility issues I have to keep IE installed, but with the new tab features and security changes it seems like it could be a viable competitor to FF.

Yeah.. how did Netscape die such a horrible death? I used to use it a whole lot back in the day... now I just don't.

I use Crossover Office Pro to run MSIE to make sure websites I make look correct in it... and I have not used Windows on any of my machines since 2003.
Its called the IE tab extension for firefox noobs.
