Hell yeah they are! Eleanor Friedberger (in the avator) is part of Fiery Furnaces. From left to right, Emily Haines (whom I adore deeply) is lead singer for Metric and also moonlights with Broken Social Scene, and whom just put out a solo cd. Center is Jenny Lewis who plays in Rilo Kiley. Finally we get to Joanna Newsom, whom obviously plays the harp, and is beautiful at it. I find her voice and lyrics particular gorgeous, but she's an acquiered taste.
What, no Leslie Fesit?!

I think I'm in love with her in the Almost Crimes video

I actually ran into Eleanor Friedberger at a coffee shop once. The Fiery Furnaces are originally from one town to the north of me (although I'm really not a big fan of their stuff at all).

Love Feist, but loovvve Emily Haines. And I can understand why people don't dig the Furnaces. Also love Amy Millan. Her new album (also of Stars fame) is quite f*cking fantastic. Feist's cd is quite good too.
Ziggy, have you heard this at all?

Oh yeah. That's a pretty good album, esp. for a nice country fix.
