Halftime.
Should be 21-3 ... Deacs got jobbed on a fumble call at the 1.

does a week go by where you don't complain at the refs?

If instant reply is there to fix blown calls, then I'ma complain, yes.

That blown call looms huge with the current Deacon meltdown and a tied game.

i'm sure you knew coming into the season that instant replay rarely fixes anything.
ACC fans always bitch about the officiating because that is the most convenient excuse for the poor football they play in that conference :)

I might accept that comment from a SEC fan -- but from a Big East fan that's outrageous.
Ahh hemmmm

THIS THREAD SHOULD BE CHOKE ALERT.

isn't the big east better this season?

Debateable... but I don't think so. After good WV and Lville teams... there's a decent Rutgers team. After that... crrrraaaappppp. The ACC has no elite teams, but goes deep with quality teams.

Even if they were.... fluke.

Hey -- Duke went to the Rose Bowl. Does that make them a powerhouse? Hey -- the Big East (may) be better than the ACC this year. Does that make them a better -- or even a quality -- conference?

umm, ok. not sure what Duke has to do with this, but alright. Don't state and FSU suck?
Speaking of bad officiating, check out the Florida-LSU game. LSU got bent over and sodomized by the officials in the first half. Utterly embarrasing.

...and now Florida's offense is doing likewise to them.
GTS, you seem to forget about Pittsburgh and USF. UC almost beat VT at VT. Syracuse gave a big time scare to Iowa (granted, they were without their QB).

Sorry, the Big East is head and shoulders better than the ACC this year.

Almost? VT shattered Cincy late. It was close until the 4th, but VT imposed their will then. Iowa was, as you mentioned, w/o their QB. The only decent team Pitt played (Michigan St) drilled them. Their best win is over a down Toledo squad. USF beat FIU by 1, and lost to Kansas and Rutgers. Unimpressive all-around.
but aren't the dregs of the big east just as good as duke and unc?

VT beat up on Cincy late due to Cincy turning the ball over. UC was up 14-13 at the beginning of the 4th quarter, 2 of VTs scores in the 4th were off of UC turnovers.

Pitt got beat by MSU due to Javon Ringer. Now that Ringer is gone MSU is not the same team. He got hurt in the Notre Dame game, which explains why they have been so bad since.

When it comes down to it, Cincinnati, Syracuse, and UConn would destroy Duke, UNC, and Virginia this year.

At the top we all know that UL and WVU would roll through the ACC. Middle level teams are a toss up.

Anyway, when it comes down to it, wait until the first BCS rankings come out for the conferences. I think you will be surprised to find that the Big East is closer to the top 4 than they are to the ACC in 6th place. Plus, the Big East will have 2 top 10 teams, while the ACC will continue to suck a$$.

We'll see. WV and UofL are still unknowns. Neither has played a Top 25 calibur team. The ACC is decidedly better in the middle... and the bottom of the barrel is a toss-up. UNC, however, looks like they'd lose to anybody right now. At least Dook and UVA are recovering.
UVA recovering?? From what? Their loss to ECU last night? lmfao lmfao lmfao

They played ECU much better than they did Wyoming or Western Michigan. For the Hoos -- 24 points a few weeks ago against anybody was unthinkable.
