This is the problem Nancy Pelosi wants to fix?
Not to say that I'm not impressed that the deficit is down to $250B, but that still leaves plenty of room for improvement.
Now, I don't understand this has to do with the world hating us...

The projected deficit keeps shrinking as tax revenues continue to be better than expected. Most people attibute the increase in tax revenues to a robust economy fueled by tax cuts. Nancy wants to repeal those cuts.
As for the world hating us, they don't need an excuse. No matter what we do they will hate us.

It certainly does. With revenues up, it's time to cut spending.

Because despite all the complaints, bad press and efforts to destroy the US, it is prospering...doing many of the things hated most.
