WHO DAT! WHO DAT! WHO DAT SAY THEY GONNA BEAT THEM SAINTS!!!
Let the spinning on why the Falcons lost the game. Fact is....the Saints BEAT THE HELL OUT OF THE FALCONS!!!
Words cannot describe how I feel right now being a lifelong Saints fan. This past year has been hard on everyone around here. For one night, we could yell at the top of our lungs for our beloved Saints and not care about whats going on around the rest of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. This night will never be forgotten in New Orleans history. This win may be bigger than our one and only playoff victory. Tonight was our Super Bowl and WE WON!
Man, this feels great!!!!!!!
For some reason the win seemed a little fishy. Almost like ATL was giving it away. Blocked punt? blocked kick? ATL only getting 117 yards rushing after getting 300+ and 250+ against much better defenses (TB and CAR)? NO defense only giving up 3 points after giving up 14 to CLE and 27 to GB? I smell conspiracy.

I smell a great gameplan created by Coach Sean Payton and his coaching staff to shut down Mike Vick and the Falcons rushing attack. It's simple. Keep Vick in the pocket and make him beat you with his arm, which he can't do.
And perhaps, the Saints are better than everyone thinks.

And I still say that Haslett gets a bad rap. He inherited a bad team, and made them competitive. He had to endure unbelievable circumstances, and his teams competed.
It takes a few years to build up a team, Haslett was doing that, despite many things working against him. I think Payton inherited a good situation.
Im beginning to think that the Saints really are a good team, they have weapons on offense, including a really good QB, and a defense that gets the job done.
McAllister and Bush might be a two headed monster at running back that the NFL hasnt seen since Christian Okoye and Barry Word with Kansas City in the early 90s.

Drew Brees spotted Green Bay their first 14 points, plus the Ravens gave up 14 points to the Browns so their defense must suck too.

Is the NFC South race already over?
Not hardly, The Falcons lost a road game, good teams lose on the road. They looked so strong the first two weeks, they cannot be dissmissed so easily. IMO very few teams would have been able to win a game against the Saints in that situation.

Don't worry, Bruce Gradkowski is about to bring the Bucs back into the picture!

As long as he doesn't throw up during every play! lmfao lmfao
As they were talking about his stomach issues during preseason, I was laughing thinking about the MAC fans that were pushing him for Heisman last year.

Of course not. It will still come down to Atlanta and Carolina.
New Orleans is a cute story, but last night was not a real indication of anything. The fact is, with that atmosphere, the Saints weren't going to lose anybody. We'll see if they can play that well when they go to the Georgia Dome. I've got my doubts.
That said, they've got a shot at a wild card, IMO.

Are you serious?
What exactly has Carolina shown to make anyone think they are still a good team? Their only win is against an 0-3 team by 2 points. We will certainly know more after they play the Saints next week, but as of now Carolina is FAR from a playoff team.

I've got too much respect for Jake Delhomme, Steve Smith, John Fox and that entire coaching staff to write them off. They're in the exact position they were last year after three games. As a Falcons fan I hope you're right about them, but they still scare the hell out of me.

You didn't know that the Bengals' cheer started in 1981.

[quote]Other myths as to its origins:
Who Dat?. Saints fans claim Who Dat precedes Who Dey. Indeed it does, as it has been claimed to originate as early as the 1930's. However, being that the Bengals "Who Dey" cheer started in 1981 and the Saints "Who Dat" cheer was copied off of the LSU Tigers (who copied and edited the Bengals fans' "Who Dey", using the phrase in 1982) and originated in 1983, there is no doubt as to which football team originated the chant as a football cheer.
The phrase
