...that the astros pull off an end of season run to make it again?

Last thursday they were 7.5 out of the division.

They are now 2.5 out and on a 6 game winning streak during which they swept the cards in a 4 game series.

With the finals 6 games coming against the Pirates and Braves I find myself thinking maybe they can do this. I know it is a longshot still but stranger things have happened.

the odds arent good, but the cards do have two more against the padres.

I guess anything is possible as long as they arent mathematically eliminated.

Stros win and a cards loss has trimmed the lead to 1.5 games.

This last week of the season is going to be very interesting now

I think it's really possible. Didn't think so 24 hours ago, but when Chris Carpenter blows a three-run lead it makes you think something crazy is happening.

i hope the phillies get the wild card and the cards win the divison

Cards won too so the margin is still 1.5 games

Astros win and Cards loss has lowered the gap to only 0.5 games.

the cards triple-a team sucks too. look for a long stint in the cellar for these guys
