I'm pissed. Thats what I wanted to fly when I graduated, now it looks like a choice between F-18 and this goofy looking JSF.

JSF is state of the Art.

i'd pick it if i could.

but i like the old F-4. ;-)

Depends on which flight school class you graduate in... you may get your choice of P-3s or Helos...

But as far as fighters, they Navy essentially has two. Harriers don't really count cause they suck. Of course, this is all dependent on actually getting into flight school.

More importantly where you are ranked when you graduate. When my dad graduated flight school his class had over 30 fighters. When my brother graduated flight school his class had only 4 fighters. Sometimes it is definitely luck of the draw.

I loved watching the Harriers take off and land. Lot's of power. Wonderful in close combat support. Sucked when they were doing it 24/7 and I had to listen to it while on post!
