I wanted to gauge the interest level in starting a Music Forum.

I envisioned this forum as a place to discuss music in general, talk about new artists that have been "discovered" by our members, and provide fellow members with reviews of CDs purchased.

This forum could also be used as a place to request or provide links to music (for evaluational purposes only) so that other members could hear for themselves.

As an example: In the "Favorite Music Right Now" thread, niuhuskie84 listed some things he is listening to right now. Included in that list was....



Well, that didn't tell me much about it. If he had included this....

The Song "More Than Real" from the album "So this is goodbye" by Junior Boys

I would have had a better idea what kind of music he was talking about and whether I wanted to explore further.

Actually that track is off of "Last Exit" ;-)

Anyway, I'm a music junkie, so I'd be all for it.

ha, that thread is nothing. theres another board i frequent that has one of those thats up to over 35,000 replies and is on page 677.

so are we gonna do this, or not? i think it should be set up like the conference boards, where it can be broken down into different genres of music.
