Everyone notices when gas prices sky rocket, but has anyone noticed how the gas prices are dropping significantly (well at least around here)? Price per barrel is getting closer and closer to dipping below $60.

I've noticed. Gas prices are down by 12% or more. It's great. Some folks are saying it's b/c of the looming elections. So it's getting attention, but not necessarily positive attention.
I'm loving it.....
I didn't bitch as it was going up, didn't think it was right to celebrate as it went down.
regular is at about $2.50 here.
I filled up for $2.15/gal in Houston a couple of days ago
Its about 2.50 here as well, I dont really care until they get down below $2.00
We are still at $3.48 for Regular
$2.45 in Durham, up the road about 30-40 mins its $2.25
exit 160 on I-85 in Burlington

Hmmmmm. Gas prices dropping just before elections? NO WAY!
