Hey, we as a country had a choice not to elect this doofus. Twice. Now we're stuck with him and the decisions he has made will echo for decades.

If I knew what either of those were, I might agree with you.

Troika: threesome, trio, triumvirate: any group of three acting together.

Quadroika: made up word, play on words; four instead of three.

I just meant that you, endzone2, and pat Buchanan seem like an unlikely trio to be in agreement on anything.

Kind of like Bush, Chavez, and Warren Buffet.

Well, notice I didnt exactly comment on the merits of the article either ;-). In any case, most people I know, myself included, are against illegal immigration. The debate and questions arise with how it should be handled. And obviously, there is no catch all easy answer. Is the right thing to gather up tens of millions of people and deport them? Personally, I dont think so. On the other hand, it is something this country has to take seriously. Its a fine line.

Fair enough. Endzone posted without comment. The common thread from the three was negativity toward Bush, but I think if we put the three of you in a room, there is little that even two of you could agree upon. Thus the comment.

I am a Texan of Hispanic descent, with family on both sides of the river. I have no idea what should be done. I do think that controlling terrorists access to our country has raised this issue in importance quite a bit in a short time.

I found it humorous, OO.

This was one thread that seemed to stay friendly and humorous to the end. Rare.
