OMG, they're overrated and you're upset. what a big surprise. Did you honestly not see this coming? For some crazy reason you tried to convince us that the Skins defense was considered by some to be the best in football. I guess this is a league where the Bears, ravens, falcons, panthers, etc., don't exist. The only people who thought the Skins had the best defense, are the people at the Washington Post.
Tonight's game showcased two very overrated teams. there are only two good QB's in the NFC east and they played against eachother today and played one hell of a game.
The game would of been different with almost any other QB in the league other than Mark Brunnell. He didnt make a single worthwhile throw until the game was already decided.

that's true. but unfortunately for you, the Skins don't have a better option at this point. even if the backups are better, i doubt Gibbs would make the switch.
It kind of pisses me off that so many good QBs were available this offseason and we didnt make a move on any. Brees, McNair, even Culpepper. Heck id take Billy Volek at this point. Id love to see Campbell get a chance but I dont see it happening.

Brunell had a good year last year, and the 'Skins drafted a QB in the FIRST round a year ago! Who didn't see this coming?!
Brunell has never had 2 good years in a row.
But, I saw a few minutes of the game and the 'Skins got TWO bogus calls for them, each 15 yd unsportsmanlike conduct. The officials kept them in this game. That's commonplace for the 'Skins.
Im really sick of your hatred for the skins. How in the world can you say that the refs were on the skins side when they were penalized 11 times for 117 yards, and the cowboys were penalized 9 times for 90 yards? The refs were throwing flags every other play against both teams.

i understand your frustration. but it wasn't just your game. I've noticed that the refs are throwing flags for a lot more than they used to. It seems like you can't tackle someone below the waist or above the waist, and you can't even touch the QB. it's gotten ridiculous.
As a Bengals fan (and Ohioan) at my corporate office in Rockville, MD right now, I'm loving it. I've been giving them all hell, I keep telling them they need to get on the Bengals band wagon!

everyone i know who lives/works in MD hated the redskins. or if they cheered for em, still didnt hold them in any high hope of winning crap.
Not in my office. There are 10 redskins fans and 1 steelers fan. NONE of them like the Ravens.
Considering Baltimore had no team for 20 years (or close to it) I am not sure how the people in Maryland are not fans of the Redskins now either...

Yes the Redskins play in MD
MD is filled w/ 'Skins fans, but there is a pretty sharp line around Howard County. Folks up there resent DC and their teams (like stealing the Bullets).
B'more is an old-school pro football town. They know their stuff. 'Skins fans are ignorant...but if it makes you feel any better Terpy, so are the local Dallas fans and a large proportion of Bears fans.
Packers and Steelers fans are the best. Cleveland fans know their stuff, but are overbearing and obnoxious.
SF, Dolphins and Cincy fans are all pretty good.
Personally I think you are an idiot for generalizing entire fan bases. I know an awful lot of Steelers fans who are petty bandwagon whores. For the record, I live more than 350 miles from Pittsburgh. Somehow there are enough Pittsburgh fans in the area that a local (non-sports) radio station had a poll in which they listed Pittsburgh as a local team. The real local teams in my area are the Skins, Ravens and Eagles.
Im not saying that everyone who lives here that is a steelers fan is a bandwagon fan, but an awful lot of them are. They definitely outnumber all the bandwagon Cowboys fans. Also, I think its funny how 5 or 6 years ago everyone was a 49ers fan because they "grew up liking them" but I dont see any 49ers gear around anymore.
