On my end it wasn't intended to be a gay joke. I just found it funny that a kid misunderstood her dad's jab at the navy and then incorporated that jab, innocently into the letter.

I fear it is fake though. Do you know anyone who spells Susan with an "i"? Anyone who is old enough to know how to write intelligible sentences knows how to spell their name correctly. I mean its one of the first things you learn.

Maybe her name is "Susin" and not "Susan".

I've never seen it spelled with an I. Unless it is pronounced differently, phonetics please.
