I am starting to get the impression that is going to be more like something you would see on one of the 24 hour news networks and not the same ol stuffy news that the big 3 have been giving us for years. It may even make watching the CBS news tolerable (if you can stomach Katie).
What do you guys think?
I can't see Katie doing stuffy news. She is too damn perky.

Apparently she is a little too chunky too....
CBS recently airbrushed a promotional body shot of her to make her look skinnier....
I never would have figured that she would be getting trounced (in the ratings) the way she is. The gamble by CBS seems not be working out.

Few women come across as serious enough for evening national news. I'm not saying it's fair or right, it's just a fact.
Couric has the reputation as a perky morning show gal. Once again, I don't know if it's fair, but it's true. I personally think it's poetic when I consider what happened w/ Deborah Norville.
But, even if it's not the case, what does she bring to make people change from another newscast? or sitcom reruns?
