I've slowed way down over the past 2 months.....

I wasn't doing anything different, but I used to get at least 2300 a month. Last month, that changed.

Right now, my client estimates this block (359 points) is going to take another 8 days... meaning that this month, the most I could get is around 1500 points. I'm leaving it running night and day, like I always have. I did install a new text based client instead of the graphical one (but that was because of the slow down, not the cause of it.)

Okay, that's strange! The graph shows I uploaded a 385 point block on 8/23 (the day I posted the above message), but I have no clue where that came from... the 359 point one I was working on uploaded on 8/27.

They seem to be giving out new work units with different point values lately.

But I still have no clue why it slowed down there for a month or so.

For example, if you look at my graph right now, you'll see I uploaded somewhere around 400 points on 8/12, 8/23, 8/27, 9/1, 9/6.... I wasn't doing anything different, just letting it run...

I can't figure out why it took from the 12th to the 23rd (11 days) to do that ~400 point unit, but did the next between the 23rd and 27th (4 days), and the next between the 27th and the 1st (5 days) and the next between the 1st and 6th (5 days).....

It was taking twice as long to do the same ~400 point unit up until the 23rd.

Oh well... at least it's back to its old self now.

my computer sucks too bad to do something like this.

F@H all of a sudden started slowing down my computer big time so I stopped running it, any idea why?

Most likely? Windows needed one of its patented "refresher reboots"
