Yankees, 59-40
White Sox, 59-41, 0.5 GB
Twins, 59-41, 0.5 GB
Blue Jays, 56-44, 3.5 GB
This has to be one of the most intruiging races I can remember. You've got the Yankees who haven't missed the playoffs since '93, the defending World Series champs and the hottest team in the planet all within a game. And the Blue Jays just continue to hang around.
Who do you like? I'm tempted to say the Yankees will overtake the Red Sox, and Boston will take the Wild Card again, but it's hard to pick against the Twins the way they're playing.
As for the White Sox, I could see them going on a huge run, or I could see them collapsing. It seemed unimaginable a couple of months ago, but I have to wonder if Ozzie is losing that clubhouse.
