Went and saw superman last night. It was pretty good, but a little dissapointing given all the hype. Did anyone else see it?

wtf swoosh, I didnt give away a damn thing about the movie, I just said I was a little dissapointed with it given all the hype. If you didnt want to know what I thought about it at all you shouldnt of opened the dagone thread. This isnt a spoiler.

He didn't tell YOU anything. He was giving everyone his opinion about the movie. I'm gonna go see it and might think the opposite of him. His opinion isn't going to change what I think about the movie beforehand.

calm down, damn! i didn't mean anything by it. i just don't like being told people's opinions about a movie before it see it, that's all. i thought the thread might be about the hysterical rumors of superman's sexuality that have been floating around the internet.

BTW, what is wrong with you guys? i wasn't trying to start any sh*t. i suppose i should choose my words more carefully, 'wish' and 'told' are probably words that don't have a place in civilized conversation

FTR Superman I and II were great movies. III was utter garbage and IV was watchable but not that great.

I just hope the movie is better than II and IV...if it does that then all will be well in the universe.

And Spacey was pretty much as evil as Gene Hackman was. I was so releived b/c the trailers made it seem he wasn't evil enough.

For anyone who has seen it..were they implying what I thought they were implying? I don't know of any comic book references to that fact.

I just saw it. it was good. Lex was great evilness-but I have never liked a non-Reeves Superman. I grew up on the movies and HE is Superman.

I've never seen a Superman movie before. I enjoyed this one. The opening (opening credits) had me worried about its quality though.

It was quite an interesting story though. Interesting in good and bad ways.

I think it woud be good for a first-timers...it was just that I was biased in that I liked Reeves since he was the first...but this Louis Lane was freakin hot
