Dayton Moore is leaving for Kansas City, and with him is likely to go Roy Clark and our entire scouting department, which has been the backbone of this phenomenal run of division titles. This is just a devastating loss for the Braves.
I wasn't aware they had a dynasty going?? I thought you had to win more than one championship over fifteen years for that?? I'm just messing with you GDawgs. It was a great run for the Braves, but the effects of this might not be seen for a couple of years. So don't panic yet.
luckily, the giants don't have a farm system so i don't have to be nervous about losing our scouting director.

I kind of made it sound worse than it really is, but this is a tough loss for the Braves. Moore is a rising management star who's been an integral part of our player development, which is what has kept our playoff run going. If he hires his own scouting department, we'll be able to overcome this, but if our current scouting department follows him, this is a crippling blow.
