nobody really knows about lowry. he strained that oblique, which as we know is really fragile. i can tell you that he is throwing right now, but i'd say 2 weeks at most until he starts again. i would keep checking the things written on sfgiants.com.
as for cain, he's volatile. i mean, if he has a game where his control is under, well, control, he'll strike out 10 and go deep into the game. last game he had no control and he managed to strike out like 8 guys in 6 innings. it all depends who you're planing on giving up, to get him. i have him on one of my teams.
