Just FYI to anyone out there:
The ASUS P4P800-MX (and I believe any of the P4P800 series) with onboard video has some issues with Linux.
If you want to lower the amount of system RAM reserved for onboard video from the default 32 MB, you're SOL.
Any setting other than 32 MB will cause the system to run painfully slow in Linux. Windows and FreeBSD are uneffected.

May not be completely pertinent anymore since the Socket 478 is on it's way out, but thought I'd post it after the hard time I had with it.
