and pena only has one more AB than arroyo. i wonder if pena still has more K's than arroyo has pitched K's? ;-)
Arroyo has been great on the mound to. Got the win in his first start and today he pitched 7 shutout innings to go along with his second dinger. Finally a real starting pitcher 02-13-banana

and you didn't have to give up anything. i got to see pena up close at the WBC and i was not impressed. he is sooooo raw. he's years away from being any good. i'm not sure i've ever seen a good fastball hitter, who's worse at hitting an offspeed pitch than pena.
Seems like what was once the problem with surplus OFs has now evolved to problem with surplus IFs, but that's neither here nor there.

Back to Arroyo, I know there was a 17mph wind gust, but that wasn't a cheap HR by any means. The ball went out of the park onto Waveland Ave!!! 04-jawdrop
