Just saw the Bonds is not in the starting linup against ATL because of the field condition. Any other player in the MLB would be publicly criticized for this excuse.

Wha??? Next thing we know, Lebron will not be able to play for the Cavs because his new shoes aren't in. lmfao
are you hitting the bottle again? bonds didn't pull himself out, he was scratched, because the field is like a pool with some grass floating on it. if you listened to the TBS telecast you would've noticed that moises alou was scratched too.
I think it was a good move by Alou. No need to risk Bonds getting hurt in such horrible conditions this early in the season.

BTW, did anyone stay up and watch that game last night? Absolutely bizarre. Never seen a game that strange in my life.

of course i stayed up. actually i went to sleep about 10 minutes after accardo came in. nothing like a middle of the night game between two teams with terrible bullpens.
hell i just use it as an excuse to not go to bed. lmfao

Nope not hitting the bottle. In fact, I've been sober for well over a month thank you very much.

All the players should have been scratched because remember all of the players play on the same "level" playing field. If the risk of injury to Bonds it great, then there is an equal risk of injury to all the other players.

sorry, about the "hitting the bottle" statement, i didn't know.

you're making no sense. bonds is more important and more fragile than the other players.
