Good trade. Hattenberg will move to first and Dunn will go back to left. We subtract strikeouts from the lineup and add more pitching.

Rotation:
Harang
Claussen
Aroyo
Milton
Dave Williams
Paul Wilson

One of them will get pushed to the pen.
I think the trade was pretty much a wash. Arroyo adds depth to the rotation. He's not great, but if he can handle Fenway he should be all right in GABP.

The Red Sox had an excess of starting pitching and wanted an extra outfielder, and they got a pretty good young one.

Both teams got what they were looking for. At first I thought the Red Sox won this deal hands down, but I actually think it's pretty even.
So who gets moved to the pen? Wilson will start out on the DL (I think) so the other guys get a chance to establish themselves.

Willy Mo is only 24. He has three years to go before his numbers probably take off. Arroyo was 14-10 last year with a 4.51 era playing for the defending champs. It will be interesting to see what kind of numbers he can put up in Cincy.
Milton's outing a couple of days ago was encouraging. 5 innings, 1 run ,6 k's and he hit 94 on the gun. If he improves drastically like he should this team could surprise some people.
Arroyo had a decent outing yesterday, going 6-2/3 in with 3ER and 6K. He also hit his first ML HR!
