I know there's some rasslin' fans out there.
Let's get this going again. It doesn't have to be constant WWE chat. Ya'll want to talk old school..? I'm ALL about the old school stuff. Ya'll want to talk TNA..? I personally think it's the most entertaining show out there right now.
Let's get the ball rolling again here.
Hi HornLakeTiger,
If you want to talk "rasslin" I have a few words to say. I really don't understand why is it they had Rey Mysterio Jr. making a dedication to Eddie Guerrero and then winning the Royal Rumble and going on to Wrestlemania to honor Eddie Guerrero. The way I see it, if they wanted someone to honor Eddie Guerrero it should have been Chavo Guerrero Jr. because he is Eddie's nephew and not Mysterio.
If you go to the Honky Tonk Man's website, he gives a lot of info on what goes on behind cloes doors and speaks openly about his opinions. He accused Vince MacMahon of "exploiting" Eddie Guerrero's death and from the looks of it he may be right. Eddie has been gone for some months now and having a storyline with Triple H saying he couldn't take "take it out" on Eddie in Heaven for Mysterio winning the Royal Ruble but on Chavo on Raw the day after the Royal Rumble. And the storyline of Randy Orton disrepecting Eddie's legacy is another thing that seems to show HTM's claim of Vince MacMahon "exploiting" Eddie's death.
Strange as it is Eddie's picture is still on the WWE.com Smackdown! roster, even after three months that he has passed away.
The reason that Vince gave Rey the "Eddie push" is because Rey is MUCH more over with the fans than Chavo is...basically, Rey makes more money for Vince than Chavo would. That is the ONLY thing that matters to Vince.
This entire Eddie angle is absolutely disgusting.
That being said...I would definitely love to see Rey win the World title at WrestleMania.
I agree that VM is squeezing every dime he can out of Eddie's death. It started on the night that Eddie died.
Rey is considerably more popular than Chavo, so that is why is getting the pub.
