What was the best move off the offseason by any team, in your opinion? I'd have to think about mine, but it may be the most recent one, which is Bengie Molina signing with Toronto. I thought that was brilliant on their part.

What say ye?
carlos delgado, plain and simple. he fills an enormous hole, he changes the face of the team and is as close to a sure thing as you're gonna get.
Off the top of my head as far as a single off season move it seems to be Josh Beckett to Boston.....

how can that be the best offseason move? we're talking about a major uncertainty. shouldn't the best move have some degree of certainty. beckett has never thrown 180 innings and there are rumors that his shoulder is in real bad shape.
And they gave up Hanley Ramirez and Anibal Sanchez.

If Beckett gives them a lot of innings it's a good move. But there's no certainty that will happen by any means.

I was basing this on if he lives up to the hype and what he did to the Yankees in the 2003 WS

oh, well then yeah, maybe. if he does what he did in the WS over the whole season, the sox will have their big time ace.
