Currently occupying my taste buds is Sierra Nevada's Porter. It has a robust flavor with subtle hints of chocolate and caramel. Goes great with... Another Sierra Nevada Porter!!! What is Ziggy gonna drink tomorrow? It's anyone's guess. My liver was talking a mean game of trash the other day. I have in mind the proper punishment. He knew what was coming to him.

Today, Ziggy is drinking a beer from Cleveland Micro Brewery "Great Lakes." This Great Lakes beer is entitled "Conway's Irish Ale." This Ale has a reddish tint to it and exudes a toasty, almost Bass-like, flavor. Though, not as bitter as a pale ale. What will Ziggy drink tommorow? Who knows? It could be your adult beverage of choice.
currently Ziggy at the local AA meeting lmfao

lmfao lmfao . That's good Treasure. It's not that I'm a drunk, I really like the taste of beer and haven't the need to always get sloshed. I can have one beer and be happy. Of course, I was inebriated when I started this thread.
Stay tuned.
Terpy is very poor, so Terpy drinks Miller Lite.
and lots of it.
lmfao lmfao lmfao
I am gonna drink some Maker's Mark during the Duke game today
Ziggy went out today to buy some new beverages. What he saw, he liked. It was a Samuel Adams (Kroger just ran out of Samuel Jackson, much to my dismay) 6 pk sampler. After sampling 1 of each of the 3 different types, I must conclude that the Black Lager is my fav. It combines roasted elements of caramel, chocolate to give it an almost iced coffee zen. Best served cold in a proper glass, with a bowl of cereal.

B4L is also very poor. B4L drinks Rolling Rock.
Ziggy, I have to ask...
What is the purpose of this pic? You know, what is the story behind it?

That my friend, is a picture of midwestern folk singer Sufjan Stevens. The two ladies may or may not be part of his band the Illiniosemakers. Sufjan is going to put out an album for each 50 states. Under his belt so far, are Michigan (his home state) and Illinios. His band routinely breaks midset into pyramids, cheerleader style.
Ziggy is currently polishing off a bottle of Heineken that he didn't finish last night. Heineken is one of Ziggy's tried and true favorites. I don't think I need to post a review of this lager. I'm sure you've all sampled. It's good beer.
Steinlager. Ziggy drank a sh$t ton of Steinlager tonight. It was the beer of the month at a local pub. Steinlager is the beer of choice amonst kiwis. I had some in NZ. It's a good beer. If you're into Heiniken, you'll like this lager. ITgsto a nice after taste, kind of metallic and bitter. Doesn't sound appetizing, but it's the onlyl way I kan dessribe it.
Wow! Ziggy the beer afficiando. You're just too cool.

I'm not as cool in person.
What's Ziggy drinking at this hour in the morning?? Samuel Smith's Taddy Porter. Imagine an ethereal concoction of coffee, mocha and bread, liquifying them, and serve cold in a proper glass. It's texture is sublime. It's got such a robust scent, I imagine you could get drunk off just inhaling it's vapors. I've sampled Sammy's Oatmeal Stout and his Nut Brown Ale, and while Ziggy loves his Nut Browns, this one takes the cake, and eats it too.
I just had a couple of Blue Moons
Yeah, Blue Moon is good. Esp. with an orange. Really enhances the flavor. Some people call me effeminate when I drink my Blue Moon with an oragne slice. Actually I get called effeminate quite a lot. They're just jealous.
there were orange slices included.
Red Oak is good to.
Ziggy continues his forray into Samuel Smith. Today I'm drinking Sammy's Winter Ale Welcome. Now while Ziggy usually loathes Winter brews, this one has quite the bite to it. Apparently Bill Shakespeare approved of this beverage, as indicated on the label, "blessing of your heart, you brew good ale." Bitter and creamy is how I would describe this beer. While creamy would usually denote a stout, this brew is a little heavier than say, your Bass.
No Smauel Jacksons? arrrgghhh
Ziggy should sample a Red Seal. I think ziggy would like that.
Moloch loves Carlsberg, Stella, and Kalik.
Thanks for the recommendations. My next visit to beer capital (local worldly grocery Jungle Jims) may see me purchasing some of the aforementioned beverages. Right now, I'm torn b/w Sam Adam's lager, and Sam's spring seasonal White Ale. While the White ale is good, my lips can't stay off the lager. There was a dispute, words were said, but no hard feelings. But, of Sam's seasonal's the Spring is my fav. Hey, it's a belgian white. The summer brew, I believe is a hefewiezen also, but has a hint of lime.
Alright, I've got a half hour before I depart for the UC/WVU game. Anyone want to wager how many Sam Adams I polish off before tip off? I've got two under my belt, been nursing since 9ish. I say two more.
3 more
I just tried Liquid Cocaine. it was good, it was Jager peppermint snachaps (sp?) and 151

Sounds tasty LL. My fav concoction involving peppermint schnapps is, when it's added to hot chocolate. Uhmmm. Winter drinks are my absolute fav mixed drinks. Some hot cider and 151, ahh, last year in Philly waiting for my flight to Dublin at my all time fav pub ever McGillian's! Such a cozy atmosphere. About 20 degrees outside, nice fireplace inside, decked out in wood, free stew, oldest pub in Philly, so f@cking cool!
Just bought a 12 pk sampler at local convenient store. It's a microbrewey called Tommyknocker (out of Idaho Springs, CO). It's got a little everything, an IPA, a few diff lagers, and a hefeweizen. Solid purchase.
Lion Stout, from Sri Lanka. I'm cultured. Not my favorite stout, but it's good. Real strong and bitter, like my ideal man! At 8.0% alc it'll get you solidly tossed, like my salad last night! Though I can only find it in 625ml bottles, whatver the hell that amounts to, stupid metric.
I had a Red Oak for breakfast today in celebration of bein finished for the semester
Right now, I'm working on a term paper for my International Relations class, so I opted for a bottle of wine. Some Napa Valley Vineyards Merlot circa 2002. The merlots I normally drink are very dry and strong. This one is quite the opposite. Got a recommendation from the magazine Esquire. This one isn't dry at all, and is very sweet and fruity. Just like me.

Jagerbombs are great
I had 2 plus coke and Hennesey
weeee!
I'm drinking another bottle of wine right now. Black Opal cabernet merlot. Ehh, it's booze. It's 10:30. The taste is, I don't know, too light, too nondescprit, leaves as soon as you swallow. Vague come to mind. I'm much better at describing beer. Though I'm equally talented at consuming both.

You know, I'm not even sure why I'm drinking this out of a glass. I'm gonna get hammered this morning.
So the wine's gone. Thankfullly I've got some chinese beer in reserve. Tsingtao. It's a typical lager, much like your Heinekin. It's mostly flavorless, though after drinking a bottle of wine, everything loses it's taste. From what I recall before I drank this wine, it's like Heinekin without flavor, so basically it's drinkable, albeit sans taste. it's not very good and i will not purchase this beer again. That, my friends, well, LL seems to be the only one who appreciates this thread, I can guarentee. I mean it's not bad, but I wouldn't recommend buying it. I mean, if someone offfered it to you, I wouldn't pass it up. The only beverage of adult consumption that I'd pass up is some girly beer (ie smirnoff, unless that was all that was to drink). I mean, I'd partake in a girly liqour concoction, but it'd have to be after several drinks.
Just bought 3 diff. six packs at my local beer heaven. Got some Argentian beer (figure might as will sample what they drink before I head down there) called Quilmes. It's a pretty good ale, not the best tasting I've ever had, but it's decent. I also bought Rogue's Mocha Porter. Que drowl emoticon times three.. Sooo good, sooo flavorful. I love Porters. I also bought a Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA. This is the best tasting IPA I've ever had in my entire freaking life. No joke. This brew is sooo hoppy, and at 6%, a few might knock you on your ass. It's a bit pricey, 'round $9.00 American for a sixer. But it's damn worth it. The beer stocker told me to try their other IPA, but I'm not ready, yet to invest over $10.00 (again, American) for four beers. Maybe next week.
Drinking an Italian Wine right now, Dellatori, it's a Pinot Grigio white wine. Ziggy likes. Should have chilled it first, but I didn't. Very smooth, crisp, and fruity. Ziggy also likes cigars. Some Al Capone Cognac flavored. Mmmmmmm.....
Today Ziggy is drinking Kirin Ichiban. It's a decent lager. Only bought it, because I haven't tried it. No more analysis. Pick it up, it's not bad.
I had a Blue Moon during Game 5 of the Cup. it was good. Red Oak is still pretty good.
I prefer liquor to beer tho. Next time you go to Mexico Ziggy you should try to find some Absinthe-its legal there.

I actually had some Absinthe in Ireland a couple years ago. It got us hammered, but we didn't hallucinate *sigh*. And it tasted horrible. Apparentley there is an elaborate process involved in drinking it, instead of just downing it.
I've been into Whiskey Sours lately
I had a nice cup of Dr. Pepper at Hardees

Nice dude. Mix some SoCo in that bitch. Drinking some more wine right now, some Ecco Domani, a sangiovese. Good.

Did I post biscuit eater? I don't recall being that drunk.

I wasn't eating any biscuits fool.... I was eating a chicken sanwich.
My I also reccomed the Tropicana Orangeade....just don't get the Sugar Free version
Dogfish Head Chicory Stout. The first drink is soo intense! You're not prepared for it. It's like, "Woh! Wasn't expected that." The label says it has a hint of roasted chicory, but I say it's more than a hint. Also incorporates organic Mexican coffee. Great grill out beer.
