why not? who in the NFC is that much better than the g-men? i'm not saying we are awesome, but i'm just trying to point out that manning superbowl is not far fetched. we outplayed the seahawks in seattle, and as for the bears and panthers, we have the same record, what makes them so much better than us?

I agree, the Big Blue Wrecking Crew is easily the best team in the NFC in my opinion. They would have won at Seattle if not for Feeley's choke-jobber, and that may end up costing them in the playoffs because it gave Seattle home-field advanatage. But they are better than the overrated Seahacks.

Eli Manning isnt a Superbowl quality QB (yet). Keep hating on Seattle if you dont think they are head and shoulders above everyone in the NFC you dont know football. Sean Alexander never gets the credit but he may be the best back in the NFL. He is on a mission and he is going to carry the Seahawks to Detroit. And IF (a very big if) you can somehow contain Alexander, their passing game isnt that bad either.
You wont get past Seattle, assuming you even make it there. The Bears D will shut down Eli easily. I know the bears dont have an offense at all but with their defense they wont need much more than a couple field goals to beat New York.
Heck, the Giants arent even a lock to make the playoffs at this point. Their defense is better than anyone expected but Manning hasnt done anything recently. As far as im concerned Tiki is the only guy on offense you have to worry about right now.

IF they do actually play well in the playoffs. What is stopping Feely from blowing it for you guys again?

And you're going to tell me they're head and shoulders above everyone else? I don't buy it.
And by the way, I'll put my knowledge of football up against your's or any one else's.

a loss is a loss hoss.

Like I said, I'm not a Giants fan, so I don't have a dog in this hunt, I just think it's ridiculous to say they're head and shoulders above everyone else when they needed not one, not two, but three missed field goals in OT on their home field to beat the team with the next best record.

that is exactly why i took a hiatus. why do you have to be a child? i was trying to be civil, and have a real debate, but you're too childish.
to say the seahawks are head and shoulders above the rest is ignorant. i agree, a loss is a loss, but we went into seattle and did not get beat like seattle was heads and shoulders above us. BTW, shockey is the best TE in the NFC, and plaxico has about 1000 yards receiving.

It is easy to blame the kicker but if the Giants were clearly the better team, as you say they wouldnt of had to rely on a kicker to win the game for them, they would have took to the endzone. Three missed field goals is three offensive drives that didnt lead to the endzone. If the could have punched it in more early in the game they wouldnt of had to rely on feely.

For him to miss three kicks, any one of which would have one the game...you can't convince me that wasn't a miracle for Seattle to win that game. The Giants, by all logic, should have one. That's just the truth.
