The Greasemonkey Firefox extension allows people to use scripts that apply to specific websites. There currently are about 1/2 dozen such scripts for phpBB.
Of these, the following seem to work as advertised (for me):
Signature Purger
Signature Image Hider
Avatar Suppression
Quick Reply
There is a lot of potential in these, but it would pay to see if they cause site problems, or how many people might benefit. User Scripts like this can be used to make a site Ajax-like.
Does anyone else have experience with using this on these boards?
