Normally I would say you have to make the playoffs before being considered but he is pretty close, IMO the only other guy that can be considered would be Duncan, On second thought Duncan is probably a better player. In a couple more years we may be talking about Dwight Howard as they best player in the NBA. Amare Stoudamire would probably be in this discussion if he wasnt hurt.

Yea, I would have to say TD first, Kobe second, and LeBron third right now. Kobe is still a better defender and scorer and has three championships. You gotta win championships to be considered great.

Kobe didnt win three championships, Shaq did. Kobe hast done anything without Shaq, not even make the playoffs.

If I was starting a team I would take Lebron before Kobe, no questions.
Still don't understand the reason Lakers management picked Kobe over Shaq??? I guess Shaq is getting too old maybe.. but Kobe seems like a bad seed to build a program around.

I would choose Dwayne Wade as the best player out there as far as potential, since he has made the playoffs and been able to win early in his career. LeBron hasn't been blamed for missing the playoffs, and that is just wrong. Silas got a raw deal in Cleveland, IMO.
