since the board was upgraded, i cannot upload a avatar via either method, though direct linking works. since upgrade i have only seen direct link avatars working on rice board.

A few restrictions in place:
- 85x85 or smaller
- 75KB or less

Does it meet both of these requirements?

Yup, 80x84, 4KB.

It may have to do with some kind of heirarchy in the site I don't understand.

When I am on the support forum and click profile, I go to this URL. I can upload my avatar file successfully here, and it shows up on this (Support) forum.

When I am on the Rice board and I click profile, I go to this URL. I cannot upload my avatar file here, and I do not get the avatar when I post.

Difference is 'ncaa' vs 'cusa'
