If the Colts are 14-0 or 15-0, should they rest their starters or go for the perfect season?
From a fans point of view they have a chance to go down as one of the best teams ever but from a coaches point of view the goal isnt to be the best ever but to win the championship. If he plays his guys the whole way through and someone gets hurt its over.
Dungy said the starters will play against Seattle because they are an AFC team.
Hey, the number of teams that have finished the season with superbowl rings and a perfect record are much smaller than those that got the ring having lost games. So, now that they've lost a game, their odds of winning XL are better, right??

Worst logic ever.

Only one team has ever completed the season undefeated and they won the superbowl.

Their odds of winning certainly hasnt decreased, as most teams that have made it this far undefeated have gone on to win the Superbowl. I would say their odds of winning the Superbowl has stayed the same.
It was just a little joke. . .
