Heisman Trophy winner Eric Crouch, the former Nebraska quarterback and
projected NFL receiver, agreed to a three-year contract with the St. Louis Rams on Friday.
Financial terms of the deal were not
disclosed.

Crouch, drafted 95th overall, had 7,915
yards of total offense for the Cornhuskers,
including a Big 12 quarterback-record 3,434
rushing yards. He's the third player in NCAA
Division I-A history to rush for more than
3,000 yards and pass for more than 4,000

I think he will take the place of losing Az-Zahir Hakim, not with the Lions. Crouch fits the same mold - he has speed, can catch the ball, and can return punts and kick offs.
