Oddball posted this on the MAC Talk Forum. I couldn't resist putting it here too!

Amazing what envy does to some........
That's because Noballs is disgruntled. Ever since The HERD has joined the MAC in '97....they have won 4 out of 5 Championships.

theres gotta be a good graemlin for this one...
Gary Coleman may have "fared" a little better last evening. He is a very talented Q-back, but the VA-Tech tailbacks kinda stole the show. For what it's worth, Corso would have given him a BJ, he was sooooooo excited about Leftwich - my gosh, he was sickening!
Right before this picture was taken Gary Coleman...I mean Byron Leftwich said "Can't anyone play defense around here?????"
If you look close enough.....right before this picture was taken rocketfootball ducked...but you can barely see the top of his head under Bobby's ...ooops, I meant Luther's smile!!

I do have to wonder what has happened to Marshall's defense though. In their last 3 games against Division I-A opponents they have given up 41, 61, and 41 points respectively. That is an average of 47.6 points per game. Damn, that is almost as bad as EMU's defense.....well, maybe not.
Bet you were praying for some better D against the Gophers..huh? Or was that better O? Oh well.
Rumor has it, the Herd could be leaving the MAC and joining the CUSA. Any truth to this?

Another funny post by HF4L! You do remember Marshall lost by 26 points just 2 days ago? Do you also remember you many rushing yards that Marshall D gave up?

Check the Minnesota Rivals Board. Even they are saying the were lucky to beat us today. 2 fumbles in the 2nd half and a questionable penalty on Toledo when the would have scored a TD to take a 28-21 lead in the 4th quarter.

If you want to crack on Toledo, I will give you something.....kicker Jason Robbins.

Not only did he miss an easy field goal, he has already missed 2 extra points this year and our coaches have so much faith in him that we went for it on 4th down and 4 at the Minnesota 9 yard line when we were down 24-21 in the 4th Qtr.

That is our major weakness. Can you capitalize on that gift, or are you too drunk on that moonshine HF4L?
Actually I've never tried it. But painting me as a moonshine swiggin' poster is funny, I'll give you that.

Good luck with your kicking game. We need the same thing.
NuWave,
God I hope not. I like the MAC, no offense to your Wave or anything. That rumor has been around for awhile.
Does it really matter which little sister conference Marshall belongs to? It's not like either the MAC or C-USA mean anything to anyone outside of the member schools' two yard halo. Shouldn't threads be reserved for schools with nationwide influence and potential?
What ever you say there...Mr "Can't think cause of my ****** name"

So who is your favorite team? Please don't tell me it is one of those loser programs that have national attention, but have turned down Toledo and Marshall over the last few years because they are afraid of losing to a MAC school.

Look around the NCAAbbs. The MAC forums are just as busy as the ACC, SEC, and Lounge forums.

Damn....I hate when I agree with a Marshall fan!

:stupid:
My comments were part of a Survivor Challenge. You guys didn't bite on it in time though, much to my dismay. I was just trying to stir the pot up a bit. I have no real quams with your teams. They just don't mean a great deal to me. Here's to good luck for your conference the rest of the season. 04-cheers
Isn't the MAC where DR TORCH hangs out...yeah, there's a real winner

You gotta understand that Dr Torch is a BG fan. They are actually proud that the National Tractor Pulling Championships are in Bowling Green every year!

And they say MAC teams can't hang with the big-time teams.... Georgia, Texas, West VA and Clempson recruit blue-chip farmers annually. BG is right up there in the same league...
That tractor pull is a national event!! 03-razz

Yeah, you guys would be pleasantly surprised by the MAC. Every conference goes through the good and bad swings as far as OOC games. On the whole, Marshall, Toledo and NIU could give alot of teams a run for their money!
