too bad your not playing an acc team
How many ACC Bowl tie-ins are there? The Big 10 (uh, 11) has 7 bowl tie-ins now, and they are probably the weakest of the BCS conferences lately.
Having a team like Toledo or Marshall playing against a team like Indiana or Minnesota in the Motor City Bowl will give the MAC some national attention, but it probably won't be much of a game. It would be better if it was the Big 10 #5 team instead of #7 team in the MCB.
Rocketfootball.......don't know why you think that there would be a big difference between the Big 10's #5 and #7. The difference may very well be just one more loss. We're likely to still have a quality opponent in #7, and the MAC representative will have to play very well to stay in the game. The Big 10's # 10 and #11 would be another matter.
Last year the Big 10 #5 team would have been Iowa and the #7 would have been Indiana. Despite both being 4-4 in the Big 10, Iowa was definitely the better team and I think the MAC beating Iowa would have meant more respect than beating Indiana.
Just my opinion.
The only reason Indiana was even competitive last year was Antuan Randle El.
