Too bad ol Roy Kramer isn't around to bail Tennessee out of EVERYTHING like he has. Even CBSsportsline noted that Tennessee has had a rare ability to sneak out of obvious NCAA violations, thanks to Roy.

Dude, before you start to talk about something get your facts straight. Majors had the biggest contract ever offered a coach @ UT sitting in front of him when he came back during that season, and refused to sign it, saying it wasn't enough. That, on top of the fact that he was shooting straight from a bottle of JD when he made this statement pretty much sealed the deal for him. Besides, what was Fulmer supposed to do? Not win the games he was coaching? OR not take the job that was offered to him? Come one man, that's ridiculous. As for his wieght, he just likes to eat a little bit. So what? I'm sure you'd much more overwieght with an extra $1 million or so a year. You keep wanting to run UT into the ground. That's fine. Hate us all you want. You will hate us even moe when we beat both Arkiesaw and Bama. And I will be the first to let you know about both of them.

BTW, I really hope you hate us when all this crap with Tee Martin turns out to be nothing more than some secondary violations, meanwhile Hogs players are getting DUIs left and right and are still mediocre.

Our deal (now considered as 1 major violation) was a booster overpaying players by $2.00/hr all summer..adding up to $4000 over total with 10 players, and we're having to cut 8 scholies in 4 years.

Yours is where a player got $4500 for doing nothing..not even working at all.

Also, when Kramer stands on your selection cmte., that's a load of crap. That's called "CONFLICT OF INTEREST".

Once again, you don't have all the facts before talking smack. Unless they find that the money Tee took came from a UT booster, then UT will be in the clear. that is currently the question, and if in fact he did get the money from Rowe, he knew him many years before Tee ever thought about coming to UT. That is called a prior relationship, which is cool under NCAA guidelines. It is not garuanteed that anything will happen, and even if it does, it probably won't be more than a couple of schollies. What's the difference? Your guys knowingly worked for and got paid by a booster, Tee Martin did not.

BTW, I never said that I hoped Arkansas would go on probation, nor did I say anything like that about Bama or Kentucky. But when you all start comparing the situations and pointing fingers while your guys are in similar if not worse situations, I have to point it out and defend my boys. If we did wrong, then find the wrong doing and punish us. If not, let's go on. I say the same thing about any school. I'm just glad football is here.

Screw that chat, this is the kind of stuff I like to read here and I like to participate in it too. And IMHO, this is the correct forum too.

My opinion is that it was Sanfords money all along, and that Rowe was sought out to act as the courier because he had ties to Martin. I also think that Sanford meets the criteria of "booster". But as I said, that is my opinion. But my opinion and 75 cents will buy you a cup of coffee, and not much else.

Sanford probably does meet the criteria, but Rowe does not. There is still more to be found out, for sure...
