This thread is so funny and I am glad to be apart of this website. The rivalry between Duke and Maryland is very intense and competitive. I am expecting some great games on t.v. this season.

um...actually, I think Clippers Head Coach Alvin Gentry has something to say about it...if you have watched any Clipper games this year, it is plain to see that Wilcox is just not ready, but when the kid matures....

I gaurantee that I know more about the Clippers this year. They have 3 Dukies (Maggette, Parks and Brand), and most nights when they play, I either watch it on TV, or follow the game on NBA.com.

See, if Wilcox was really going to be a dominant player, he would come in and shine right away like all the others did. Wilcox came out way too early, and because of it, he's never gonna develop like he could have. Plus, it's hard playing behind Elton Brand. Just ask Obinna Ekezie. :laugh: :laugh:

um, I agreed with you, I said Wilcox just aint ready....but neither was tmac, desmonbd mason, rashard lewis, kobe, etc (should I go on) he has plenty of time to develop...

BTW, Kobe and TMac actually averaged about 7 or 8 PPG their first year or two. Wilcox is averaging like 2.

Mason and Lewis? Both are pretty good, but if that's all you're hoping Wilcox to be...
