At the half, it is tied:

Brazil 0
Germany 0

Brazil has had some scoring opportunities, but hasn't gotten the ball into the net. Kahn is doing a great job at goal for Germany, as usual. Germany is ahead in time of possession, 55% - 45%.

Let's see how the second half goes. I really didn't know who I was going to root for, but I think I'm pulling for the Germans. After all, they ousted the USA, so I'd like us to be able to say that we lost to the champs...

Vive la Deutschland!

Oh my...Neuville almost had that one in there, but Markos got a finger of his left hand on it, knocking it out...
ACK! Kahn can't hold the ball and Ronaldo scores for Brazil at minute 67.

Brazil 1
Germany 0
In the 78th minute, Ronaldo scores again, tying Pele's record of 12 career World Cup goals. Wow!

Brazil 2
Germany 0
And it's over...Brazil wins a record 5th World Cup title by a score of 2-0.

I'm sorry, but I have to ask: when did FIFA start letting aliens referee World Cup matches?

Looks like Lucy was up early even on Sunday morning!
