ESPN page 2 has become a favorite page of mine to visit. Here's an article posted on shaq. What do you all think?

That guy is just wrong, I hate the Lakers as much as the next guy but hardly any of what that guy said was true. Shaq is incredibly athletic for a guy that is 7'1 and 350 pounds. Even if he wasnt huge he would still be a great post player he does more than just run people over on his way to the basket he has actual moves and Shaq travels just as much as everyone else in the NBA does. I doubt Shaq would be any good if he was 6'1 but he would be good just not as good if he was under 300 pounds instead of 350+ pounds.

It has to take practice to be so abusive in the paint, and be such a scoring and rebounding machine. However, i think that his point is (and i'm inclined to agree), that his talent isn't that great because it is a product of his genetics and not of as much actual skill and ability, when compared to your iversons, kobes, and kidds. But still, it's not like he needs those skills as much, being a center.

It comes down to this: Yes, he is an incredible player, and as long as he's in the league, he'll do well. But If anyone were blessed with his size, they could do the exact same thing.
