I agree. For once, I'm proud to call the Hawks my hometown team. Pete Babcock might have saved his job with the "Big Dog" and Dickau deals. In the watered down Eastern Conference, the Hawks are a true playoff contender.

BTW, don't forget they've got Dion Glover (who is finally healthy) and promising forward DerMarr Johnson coming off the bench, along with C Nazr Mohammed who filled in pretty well for Ratliff last year.
I like the Hawks with the addition of Dickau and Glenn. I believe that Jason Terry is still down in ATL and he's a great player.

I think the Clippers will be better than last year and get over that hump to make the playoffs. The young guys were so close last year but I think it will be even harder without Darius Miles. From my understanding, Miles was traded.
Jacket the Hawks may be better this season, but no one will make it through New Jersey!!!

There's been talk in Seattle that Magic Johnson will become part owner of the Seattle Supersonics. I hope he is able to give the younger guys some inspirational words of encouragement.
