Senior Clemson offensive tackle Derrick Brantley has torn two ligaments in his knee, athletic spokesman Tim Bourret says.

Brantley will likely be out for the season unless he tries to rehabilitate the knee without surgery. Even then, the senior would be on the sidelines for at least a month, Bourret said.

William Henry will replace Brantley in the starting lineup for Saturday's game with Georgia Tech.

Junior fullback Chad Jasmin and senior tailback Bernard Rambert are listed as questionable against the Yellow Jackets. Jasmin suffered a pulled groin in Saturday's game against Louisiana Tech, and Rambert didn't play against the Bulldogs because of tendinitis in his foot.
The injury bug has hit hard.

Pretty sure Brantley has opted for surgery. Which means he's out for the season. That's the one place Clemson doesn't have much depth.

With Brantley that makes THREE Starters that will be out for the Tech game. Francis (CB), Rambert (RB), and Brantley (OL).

Still should be a great game though. The LB corp is really stepping up and should be one of the best in the nation by the end of the season.
Speaking of linebackers, anyone know where Chad Carson is now. He went to high school in the Atlanta area (about 10 minutes from me). I know he graduated last year, I just haven't if he made an NFL roster.
I know that rambert is questionable for the GT game, not out for sure yet. Anyway - Yusef (Keith) Kelly ran for 97 yards last weekend.
